Why is no text extracted from my PDF?

If the PDF is a scan, its pages are images and contain no selectable text. OCR support for scans is planned for a future phase.

Is formatting kept?

No. The output is plain text with line breaks, which is ideal for reusing content anywhere.

Is this tool free to use?

Yes. PDF App Tools is free for everyone, with no mandatory account and no payment required.
